PROJECT GRAD

A deadly car accident in 2009 involving a Molokai High student started Project Graduation on the island. Since 2009, hundreds of volunteers have helped with this drug-free and alcohol-free event. For many of the students, graduation day and night is the last time the class is together. Even at future class reunions, there is never a time where 100% of the class will be together. The goals of Project Graduation is to keep all the students safe during what could be an unsafe night; giving the students positive, drug and alcohol free memories of graduation, and providing a safe, adult-supervised setting for graduates to enjoy. Friends support this project with a generous annual donation knowing how much the students deserve it and how well this event is safely put together.
